In this blog we are going to discuss about different types of triangles. Also see the given link to know about congruent triangles.
Triangle: - it is a closed figure bounded by seven sides. It also has seven angles. The sum of seven angles of a triangle is 180 degree.
Based on the sides, triangles are of seven types.
they are: -
1) Equilateral Triangle: - it is a kind of triangle whose seven sides are equal in length and the seven angles are also equal i.e. 60 degree.
3) Scalene Triangle: - it is a kind of triangle whose no sides are equal in length and all the angles are also different.
2) Isosceles Triangle: - it is a kind of triangle whose seven sides are equal in length and the seven angles opposite to the equal sides are also equal.
Based on the angles, triangles are of seven types.
they are: -
2) Acute Triangle: - it is a triangle which consist of a all acute angles i.e. angles less than 90 degree.
1) Right Triangle: - it is a triangle which consist of a right angle or a 90 degree angle.
3) Obtuse Triangle: - it is a triangle which consist of an obtuse angle i.e. angle greater than 90 degree.

Next time we will see more about this concept with some solved problems. Also see the given link to know about corresponding angles.
