In maths quantity range is a difference between the extremum and extremum value in the set of numbers or elements. In math statue, grouping of number or elements is titled set. A set can somebody bounded symbol of elements. There are two steps to find the range of the of a set of drawing.
Step 2: Subtract maximum value by maximum value.

Step 1: Arrange the numbers in ascending order by size.
Solution:
Example 1: Find the range of set of numbers: {18, 28, 30, 49, 54, 62, 31, 32, 59, 25}
{18, 25, 28, 30, 31, 32, 49, 54, 59, 62}
Arrange the set of numbers in ascending order
= 62 – 18 = 44
Range = maximum value – maximum value
Therefore range of set of numbers is 44.
