Any number which is not a fraction but can be negative, positive or a zero is an integer. Any numbers in a number line is an integer. Example: -1,-2,-3,0,+1,+2,+3 etc.
The addition, subtraction and multiplication of two integers also give an integer as a result.
In mathematical equations integers are generally represented with the help of alphabets like p, q, r etc
Positive integer is a whole number which is greater than zero that is the straightway of the counting number. They ought to not think about zero to be positive or positive integer. Positive integers also ought to not have any fractional numbers. Positive number may or may not have the positive symbol ( + ). The set of positive numbers are denoted as {1,2,3,4,5………………………n}.Positive integers involve the arithmetic operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication & division.
This is just a simple introduction to positive integers.
Next time we will discuss about actually what is integer in math.
